Νωρίτερα το πρωί περπατώντας παρατήρησα
έναν τύπο σ' ένα παγκάκι να τελειώνει το βιβλίο του
και ψιθύρισα στον εαυτό μου “τι καλά, πιο συχνά,
βλέπεις κάποιον να ξεκινά ένα βιβλίο παρά να το
τελειώνει, πιο συχνά αντικρίζει κανείς γεννήσεις
παρά θάνατο”. Μια κοντινότερη εξέταση
με έκανε να δω πως ο τύπος ήταν Ιάπωνας
και διάβαζε στη μητρική του γλώσσα συνεπώς
είδα πως κι αυτός ήταν στην αρχή κι όχι στο τέλος.
